[September 11th 2007] Preparations are going strong
We're currently very busy preparing for both the training camp & the race. Both will be the best editions so far. More & better trails, bigger stake-out, much more crew members, bigger tent, bigger bar, more competition, more participants, better timing, more gifts, ...
Check out some info on the General info page!
[December 8th 2006] The race is over
Over 90 teams participated in the biggest sleddog race in the Benelux ... and maybe even in Western Europe. A good atmosphere & sportivity combined with good trails and a nice stake-out resulted in a fun weekend! Check out lots of pictures in our gallery (use the correct year and then select the fotographer with the drop down menu). Check the results on the Results page.

[November 29th 2006] Sign up closed!
Over 90 teams signed up and over 120 musher diners have been ordered ... more than 20 amateur fotographers and 30 crewmembers will be on the site ...
WE ARE READY! ARE YOU?
If you didn't sign up, you can still come and race, but no meals can be ordered anymore and a welcoming package is not guaranteed (depends on the availability).
[November 18th 2006] 14 days and counting ...
Two weeks to go, and as the final preparations continue, we keep on getting subcription forms each day. If you did'nt sign up yet, please do so before the deadline of November 29th (the signup form WILL be blocked). We need the exact number of participants by that date to order the meals and notify our sponsors. Indeed, you, the participant, will benefit from our partnerships with numerous sponsors, but your package cannot be guaranteed if you do not sign up in advance!
As of now, payments on our bank account can be made. Please do this as soon as possible. Do not use the bank account after November 29th, we will not be able to check it after that date! Only payments before that date will be valid. You can always pay on site as well, if you prefer that. Please note that for each musher diner, 15 euro's have to be added to the sign up fee, except for children of 12 years and younger. If any children will eat, you have to notify us as well, even if they eat for free!
[November 14th 2006] 3 weeks to go!
Only 3 weeks from the event, sign up forms are really coming in every day. Great! We're on schedule and the final preparations have begun. Sign up before the event, you help us out by doing this! Also remember that a musher diner can only be ordered beforehand!
We've created an extra "loop" in the TOUR trail, that is, you can choose to run the full length of 24 km or rather leave the loop out and only run 17km. For both trails there will be a "checkpoint" halfway. Yes yes, we keep on trying to give you a realistic training for the snow events! Check out the trail page for more info!
[November 11th 2006] Sign up has started!
You can now sign up in your language via our online sign-up form here! Musher Diner will be available too, make sure you order them because they can NOT be ordered there and then! Children of 12 years old & under eat for free!

[June 15th 2006] dates set, first banner ready, update on preparations
While the preparations continue, we've begun deploying banners on selected websites. The banner will be adapted in the months to come as sponsor contracts are signed and the lay-out of the race & training camp are finalised. The Pampa Sleddog Race & Training Camp will be bigger, better & even more fun than the 2005 edition. Expect some major improvements in race set-up & "starter" services. The Training Camp will be a more complete event as well, with a complete food&drinks "musher bar", some VERY big names as guest speakers & picture/video material display of the 2005 edition. More info soon ...
[May 3th 2006] Preparations for the 2006 event have begun
After a superb first edition, the Pampa crew is already preparing the 2006 event. Rough ideas about how to improve your mushing experience are taking shape, arrangements are made, sponsors are encouraged to take the race to the next level. During the next weeks, the date will be set and modalities will be known. Stay tuned for more news soon!

[December 7th 2005] Getting ready for the big event
This is it, only two days to go, and everything finally comes in position. We have a lot of teams (about 60) coming over, and more importantly, some new & foreign teams that, hopefully, will "spread the word" afterwards. Our suppliers & sponsors are slowly, but steadily moving in their stock (including a few big surprises for our participants!), and the "pampa range" becomes more and more a genuine musher's retreat ;) The weather will be very collaborative too. Temperatures close to freezing, no rain and few clouds, it would be a crime to expect more from our typical Belgian climate. Tomorrow the sign up form will be withdrawn permanently, until next year's edition.
